Can you distinguish between truth and error? Have you accepted some Biblical teachings only on faith, knowing you’d be secretly relieved to hear of a firmer foundation than you currently know? What is your answer to those who say that the Bible is outdated in the 21st century?
Well, here’s a question for you. Are you ready to get serious about being able to defend your faith because commercials, television programs and textbooks are all discounting it?
If so, it’s time to at least try a couple sessions of “The Truth Project” which will be meeting on Sunday evenings in Stanton beginning March 6 at Halland Village’s community room. The Truth Project is a twelve lesson DVD series taught by Dr. Del Tackett. It is age appropriate for high school through adult.
No, you don’t have to take notes, and no, you won’t remember everything you hear. But you will go away more confident that the Bible tells the Truth people need to hear and your own faith might move up to the next level.
Contact Paul or Marge Warder (829-2537) or Debbie Wistrom (829-2657) for more details, or just come join us each Sunday from 6-7:30p.m.
The Halland Village community room is located on Elliott St. across from the Stanton school.
Yes, Marge will arrange to have snacks for nibbling while you watch the DVDs.
