Applicants needed for municipal boards

The City of Red Oak has the following volunteer positions on City appointed Boards or Commissions available.  

Any Red Oak resident interested in serving can obtain an application at Red Oak City Hall, 601 N 6th Street, or print one from the City’s website, redoakiowa.com    

The application deadline is 4:30 p.m., Dec. 28, and can be hand-delivered to City Hall or e-mailed to redoakcity@mchsi.com

Low Rent Housing has two vacancies with 2-year terms.
Planning & Zoning Commission has one position available, with a 5-year term.

Board of Adjustment has two seats with 5-year terms.
Historical Commission has three positions available and it will be 3-year terms.

ark and Tree Board has one position to fill a vacancy that expires 1/1/2014.  

Individuals must be a resident of the City of Red Oak.
