Betty Brackhahn, 76

Betty J. Brackhahn, 76, of Red Oak, passed away Tuesday, Jan. 31, 2012, at Methodist Hospital in Omaha.

Betty JoAnn Brackhahn was born to Alonzo W. and Doris (Mertz) Roof March 21, 1935, in Red Oak.

She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Donald Roof; and sister, Charlotte Bake.

Betty is survived by her husband, Robert Brackhahn, of Red Oak; children, Cheryl Hensley and Dennis Roof, both of Omaha; four grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and seven siblings.

Memorial graveside services took place Friday, Feb. 3, at Brighton Cemetery in Marne, with Rev. Dr. George Hooper officiating. Sellergren-Lindell-DeMarce Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
