Committee reaches goal for Simpson Bandstand marker

The committee which was established in order to raise funds to purchase a permanent marker designating the bandstand in Fountain Square Park as the “Richard H. Simpson Bandstand” would like to announce their goal has been met.

Any additional donations will benefit the Red Oak Band Boosters to distribute as they deem necessary.

The dedication of the “Richard S. Simpson Bandstand” will be performed during Junction Days 2012.
