RED OAK — Ryan Perdue, 29, formerly of Red Oak, was killed in a car accident on O Ave. Friday afternoon.

Perdue was headed southbound on O Ave., when he left the roadway. He swerved and over-corrected which overturned his car into a ditch. His body was found a distance from the car. Perdue was not wearing a seat belt at the time of the accident and was found dead upon arrival.

A toxicology report was ordered, but Sheriff Joe Sampson said he had no reason to suspect narcotics were in use; the report was just standard procedure. Results have not returned.
