Griswold girls get wins over CAM and Riverside

GRISWOLD — The Griswold girls’ basketball team picked up two wins in three games played last week.

Griswold got the wins against Cumberland Anita Massena (CAM) and Riverside. The Tigers defeated CAM 39-33 at home Thursday night.

Both Griswold and CAM scored a combined 11 points in the first quarter, with CAM leading by three. The Tigers stepped up and scored 14 points during the second quarter to take a close lead at halftime. The game would be close, but the Tigers would hold on to win.
