Hazel M. Hinkle, 87, of Emerson, passed away Friday, Feb. 3, 2012, in a car accident in rural Montgomery County.
Hazel Marie Hinkle was born to James Albert and Roxie (Parrott) Davis March 28, 1924, in Claiborne County, Tenn.
Preceding her in death were her parents; husband, Charlie Hinkle; an infant brother; and brothers, Everett and Lincoln Davis.
Survivors include her daughter, Donna Shores, of Emerson; four grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; brother, James B. Davis, of Knoxville, Tenn.; and sisters, Pauline Anderson, of Ohio, Betty Mays, of Michigan, and Beulah Holman, of Tennessee.
A celebration of life service will take place at 10 a.m., Wednesday, Feb. 8, at the Faith Community Church in Red Oak. Burial will be in the Emerson Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m., Tuesday, Feb. 7, at the Nelson-Boylan-LeRette Funeral Chapel.
