MONTGOMERY COUNTY — More than $2 million has been invested in Montgomery County through the I-JOBS Infrastructure Investment Initiative, according to a recent report by Gov. Chet Culver.
Of the $2,365,849 invested in the county, $2 million of it was directed to the Red Oak wastewater plant upgrade. Red Oak’s City Council recently selected Oakview Construction as the contractor for the $6.8 million project.
Of the remaining $365,849, nearly $250,000 of it was earmarked for road maintenance and construction.
