Starting Jan. 11 and running through Jan. 29 is Iowa’s Late Antlerless Season. It is a controversial season among dedicated hunters, but it is still viewed as a necessary portion of our whitetail management strategy by many of our state biologists and officials.
Most counties across Iowa won’t have an available quota to participate in this season, but you don’t have to reside in the counties that do to hunt during the late season.
