Robi Simmons, 52, of Creston, passed away Friday, Jan. 27, 2012, at the Greater Regional Medical Center in Creston.

Robi Dale Simmons was born to Dola Marie (Lasley) and Burl Dale Simmons July 3, 1959, in Mt Ayr.

He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Shelli Tschacher Simmons; son, Jason Dale Simmons; brother, Richard Simmons; a granddaughter; and four grandparents.

Robi is survived by his wife, TyAnn Simmons, of Creston; children, Rhonda Russell, of Bedford, Crystal Ray, of Creston, Tiffany Larson, of Creston, Rod Deal, of Creston, and Larry Key, of Creston; siblings, Robert Simmons, of Kansas City, Roger Simmons, of Des Moines, Regina Schuster, of Red Oak, Jacquline Laire, of Hastings, Rhonda Taylor, of Clive, and Rebecca Harkleroad, of Winterset; and 13 grandchildren.  

Funeral services took place Tuesday, Jan. 31, at Powers Funeral Home in Creston with Rev. Scott Marcum officiating. Burial was in the Graceland Cemetery.
