Weather doesn’t keep Red Oak from State competition

Though the weather did its best to make getting to Ankeny difficult, the speech team left Friday night and was able to attend Saturday's competition.      

It was a terrific day and the kids did a fantastic job with their performances. It's tough to alter a schedule and change things up, such as leaving for a two-hour drive after the Varsity basketball game was over, but the kids handled it well.
