Two pieces of hail that fell on Red Oak Saturday night nearly cover a $20 bill. While scattered throughout Red Oak, some residents had to contend with hail measuring 2-3 inches in diameter. Several vehicles were damaged, including dents, broken windows and cracked windshields, while some local structures sustained roof damage. After the first thunderstorm of 2014 moved out, colder temperatures and eventually snow moved in.
