The Montgomery County Family YMCA started this November, 2009 the” Giving Back to the Community/ Area” program - Holiday Food Baskets till Jan.

Members of the Red Oak Rotary gathered nearly $400 worth of food baskets this year. Gift baskets include either turkey or ham which were donated by Hy-Vee and Fareway Foods.

Under the “I Wonder What Ever Happened to?” category we put the forty-eight foot long, fifteen car, 8,000 part model circus train completed in 1963 by Harry Carmichael of Red Oak.
