Barr and Viner

2nd Lieutenant Mackay Barr and Ellen Viner were married in Fairbanks, Alaska on July 1, 2010.

 Mackay is the son of Deland and Salley Barr of Weiser, Idaho. A 2006 graduate of Weiser High and a 2010 graduate of the University of Alaska, Fairbanks, Mackay received his commission upon graduation and is the recipient of the George C. Marshall award as the top cadet in Alaska. Ellen is the daughter of Howard and Bonnie Viner of Emerson. She is a 2007 graduate of Minnehaha Academy in Minneapolis and will continue her major in psychology in Fort Benning, Ga. where the couple will make their home as Mackay begins Ranger training.
