Chat Mobility donates to flood relief in Mills, Fremont County

-A A +A

Chat Mobility has been quick to respond to the needs of Fremont and Mills County residents during the historic and catastrophic flooding Iowa is currently experiencing.  Vast stretches of the state have been devastated, residents have been left without safe drinking water, and many have lost their homes and belongings.  Chat Mobility donated $1,000 to the Fremont County Emergency Management fund to assist those affected by the devastation, and they also provided 12 cellular phones to the Mills County Emergency Management workers to help in their rescue efforts.

According to Chat Mobility General Manager, Brian Spurgeon, “The staff at Chat Mobility understands the need, and we are proud to serve the people of Fremont and Mills County who have been devastated by the flood.  It is an honor to give back.”

Because rivers continue to overflow their banks and levees are being compromised, the need for donations is ongoing.  Questions regarding donations for Fremont County can be answered by calling into the Emergency Management office at 712-374-3355 and the office for Mills County is 712-527-3643.
