Four arrested on drug charges Friday

MONTGOMERY COUNTY — Red Oak police arrested four people after serving two separate search warrants Friday night in Montgomery County.

Justin Lewis Marsden, 20, and Cassandra Dawnn Redd, 20, both of Coburg, were arrested at 6:45 p.m. after police officers allegedly seized several items of drug paraphernalia, packaging materials, digital scales and manufacturing equipment.

Officers located the items after serving a search warrant at 109 Pine St. in Coburg where Redd lives.

Marsden and Redd were both charged with three felony counts of delivery of marijuana and a misdemeanor charge of violation of a no-contact order. Redd was also arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia.

Officers also took a small child into protective custody and placed her with a family member at the direction of the Department of Human Services.

Less than two hours later, police arrested Trevor John Stapleton, 19, and Bryce Dalton Uhlenberg, 18, both of Red Oak.

They were arrested after police served a search warrant at Stapleton’s residence located in the 1200 block of East Summit in Red Oak.

Officers confiscated 4.2 grams of marijuana, drug paraphernalia and packaging materials at the residence.

Stapleton was arrested on a felony charge of delivery of marijuana and a misdemeanor count of possession of drug paraphernalia. Uhlenberg faces two misdemeanors, possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia. 

Marsden and Stapleton remain in custody in the Montgomery County jail on a $5,000 bond. Redd was released after posting a $5,000 bond, and Uhlenberg was released on his own recognizance.
