Haidsiak installed as Iowa's FOE State President

Kim Haidsiak of Red Oak was recently installed as Iowa State Auxiliary President for the Fraternal Order of Eagles at the June convention in Burlington. Haidsiak’s theme for the 2009-10 year is aimed toward the music of the 1960-1970s and her slogan is “Members Unite, Show Iowa Cares.”

Haidsiak, along with Aerie State President Greg Martin of Burlington, have chosen the Fraternal Order of Eagles Diabetes Research Center (DRC) as this year’s state charity.

State Charity Chairmen for this year’s project are John Haidsiak of Red Oak and Marilyn Mintun of Burlington.

Also, at this year’s convention, John Haidsiak was installed as Aerie State Inside Guard and Dorothy Lasley of Red Oak received the Woman of the Year Award.

Lasley and Pam Boland are among those named by Haidsiak as honorary state auxiliary sisters.

The Haidsiaks, Lasley and Boland are all members of Red Oak #2715.
