Bullington earns second Masters Degree

Jennifer (Zadow) Bullington, a 2002 graduate of Washington High School in Cherokee and Iowa State University alumna, has recently graduated with high distinction with her second Master of Science degree, majoring in Criminal Justice - Forensic Psychology from Liberty University in Virginia. There she was inducted into Omega Nu Lambda honor society for her academic excellence and her graduate research in victimology and military dependent abuse.
Bullington serves the United States Army as a NOVA-credentialed Victim Advocate for Fort Knox and surrounding military installations under the Directorate of Family, Morale, Welfare, and Recreation (DFMWR), already earning several awards and recognitions for her service in the military courts-martial, in four surrounding civilian courtrooms, and with the Family Advocacy Program (FAP). Bullington was selected to participate in the Fort Knox Garrison’s Leadership Academy, graduating Spring 2024. Bullington has also authored the book Unbeatable Spirit, a guide for survivors of trauma, and has co-authored Survivors Speak: How to share your story to advocate for legislative change in Nebraska. She begins her doctoral studies in Psychology with an emphasis in Developmental and Forensic Psychology at Liberty University immediately upon graduation, continuing her research in victimology and trauma.
She is married to U.S. Air Force veteran Branden Bullington of Stanton, and is a proud mother of six children. In her spare time, Bullington volunteers as a Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA) on cases of child abuse and neglect.
