MCMH announces its pharmacy transition
Montgomery County Memorial Hospital + Clinics, on behalf of the new MCMH Pharmacy, would like to share some important information about the temporary closure scheduled for essential updates and training during the transition from Medicap and Red Oak Pharmacy to MCMH Pharmacy.
• Red Oak Pharmacy will conclude operations at the end of business on Dec. 5.
• Medicap will conclude operations at the end of business on Dec. 6.
• Dec. 7 to 11, the pharmacies will be closed to the public as they work to prepare for the opening of the new MCMH Pharmacy.
During this transition period these phone lines will remain active:
• Medicap: 623-1900
• Red Oak Pharmacy: 623-7245
During this transition period, although there will be a period of closure, we have procedures in place to be sure you can still get your medications.
MCMH is committed to serving you in emergencies. Please call the phone numbers above if you have emergency prescription needs and we will accommodate you.
The phone lines will remain open during regular business hours, Monday to Friday from 8:30 am to 6 pm, and Saturday from 8:30 am to 1 pm. If your prescriptions will be due during our closure, we recommend reaching out to Medicap or Red Oak Pharmacy prior to their closing and they will be able to help with early refills. - MCMH Pharmacy will work closely with MCMH + Clinics staff to assist patients discharged during this transition period, ensuring seamless care.
MCMH also apologizes for any inconvenience and sincerely appreciates the public’s understanding and patience during this transition.
They will reopen their doors on Tuesday, Dec. 12, fully equipped to serve and support their patients, and the community.
