Recently John and Jill O’Neal passed the ownership of O’Neal Electric Company onto a younger generation.
Dan Dougherty and his wife of Omaha, Neb., purchased the 37 year old company.
Dougherty was born and raised in Omaha. He and his wife, Jennifer, have two daughters, Nora, 5, Elaina, 3, and a son, Rowen, 6 months.
They are excited about moving to Red Oak where they recently purchased a home.
Dougherty comes to Red Oak with 13 years of experience in the electrical field as well as experience in small business management.
Dougherty says he is excited to return the company to the level where it was when there were 16 employees.
John O’Neal will continue to work with the company.
