Suspect sought in Cast Iron Cafe burglary

The Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office is seeking the public’s help in arresting a suspect in a burglary incident at the Cast Iron Cafe in Stanton.

According to the sheriff’s office, at around 5:30 a.m. Nov. 29, they received a report from an employee that the business had been burglarized.

According to surveillance footage, at around 1:30 a.m. that morning, a male suspect was observed on camera entering the business. The suspect subsequently took an undisclosed amount of money from the cash register.

Anyone who may have witnessed the incident or who has any information is encouraged to contact the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office at 623-5107, or Montgomery County Crimestoppers at 888-434-2712. Up to a $1,000 reward may be available for information that leads to the suspect’s arrest.
