SWCC Annual Business Day Contest

Stanton High School participated in SWCC’s 30th annual business day contests on April 16. The number of participants from Stanton was down from previous years. Six out of Stanton’s seven seniors finished in second or third place in two out of the three contests they participated in.

The advertising team of Matt Pruss, Jake Snow, Neil Peterson, and Mike Hamilton returned half of the members of last year’s first place team to bring experience into this year’s second place finish. The team of Grant McArdle and Alex Cabbage finished third in the Internet Research competition. The team of Mike Hamilton and Jon Cerven rounded out the day with a “1” rating in Internet Research.

Since all of this year’s participants were seniors, next year will be more challenging. Hopefully we can rise to the challenge with a larger number of participants to compete in more events.
