Trick or Treat Around the Square Thursday

RED OAK — With halloween this weekend, the Red Oak Chamber and Industry Association is sponsoring its annual Trick or Treat Around the Square Thursday.
Businesses will hand out candy around the square, and the Red Oak Express will again be taking photos of children in their costumes from 5-6:30 p.m. at the newspaper office.
Photos will be taken free of charge, and published in next week’s Red Oak Express.
There will be a costume contest at the stage in Fountain Square Park at 6:30 p.m. Age groups are 0 to one; two to four; five to seven and eight to 11. Contest group categories are cutest, scariest, most original and best make-up. There will be a total of 16 winners.
