10 p.m. UPDATE: Weather Watch: Flash Flood Watch in effect for Southwest Iowa

10:04 p.m. update: The severe thunderstorm warning for Southern Montgomery County has been canceled.

9:34 p.m. update: The severe thunderstorm warning has expired for Northern Montgomery County. However, Southern Montgomery County has a severe thunderstorm warning until 10:15 p.m.

8:50 p.m. update: Northern Montgomery County is once again in a severe thunderstorm warning. The warning is in effect until 9:30 p.m.

5:46 p.m. update: The severe thunderstorm warning for Northern Montgomery County and Northeast Mills County has been canceled. The severe thunderstorm and flash flood watches remains in effect.

5:23 p.m. update: There is a severe thunderstorm warning in effect for Northern Montgomery County and Northeast Mills County until 6 p.m. Areas impacted include Emerson, Henderson and Elliott.

There is also a severe thunderstorm watch in effect for Montgomery, Mills, Page and Cass Counties until midnight.

Red Oak -- The National Weather Service out of Omaha has issued a flash flood watch for Montgomery, Page, Cass and Mills Counties until Monday morning.

The watch is in effect for Southwestern and West Central Iowaa, Eastern Nebraska and Northwest Missouri.

Thunderstorms are possible for the rest of the afternoon going into the overnight hours. The storms overnight, according to NWS, will be capable of producing locally heavy rainfall.

There's a 60 percent chance of precipitation for the rest of the day, as well as Sunday night.
