Accidents

• On Feb. 18 at about 6:20 p.m., the Montgomery County Communications Center received a call stating there was a single vehicle, property damage accident east of Evergreen Ave. on 250th St. southwest of Red Oak. Upon arrival, it was determined that a 2003 Chevy Impala operated by Carl Ray Mertz, 18, Red Oak, was eastbound on 250th St. when the vehicle lost control on the gravel. The vehicle then entered the north ditch and rolled onto its top causing a property damage accident. Damage is estimated at $2,000 and no citations were issued.
