2009 YMCA Easter Coloring Contest Winners

The Montgomery County Family YMCA held it’s annual Easter Coloring Contest during part of March and early April, 2009. Over sixty entries were submitted in ages divisions of 1-4 year olds, 5-7 year olds and 8 -10 year olds.

Every child that entered the contest was a winner as all children did receive a piece of candy. Nancy Zimmer, a YMCA member / volunteer and part time staff member of the YMCA donated the candy for all children in the contest along with the top 1st and 2nd place prizes for the award winners in the various age divisions. Nancy organized a volunteer committee of Peggy Tye and Carrie Stamtes, both members of the YMCA and on the YMCA Board of Directors, to judge the entries.
