2A Girls Regional Preview

The 2A regional tournament for girls basketball begins Saturday evening. Both Griswold and East Mills will be in action in Region 7.

Griswold will play Underwood in the first round at 7 p.m. at Griswold High School.

The Tigers have struggled as of late, but they won both games against Underwood this season. Winner of Griswold/Underwood plays IKM-Manning Tuesday night in Manning.

East Mills will be in Malvern Saturday night when they host Clarinda Academy. East Mills has won both games against Clarinda Academy this season. Winner of East Mills and Clarinda Academy will play Treynor Tuesday night.

The other first round games feature Riverside against A-H-S-T and West Central Valley versus Van Meter. The winner of Riverside/A-H-S-T will face Audubon Tuesday night, while the winner of West Central Valley and Van Meter plays Nodaway Valley Tuesday night.

Riverside and AHST will face each other in Griswold at 5 p.m. All the other games will be played at 7 p.m.
