Incidents

• On March 14, Chelsey Currin, Red Oak, reported a pink, twin-size Brooklyn bed and mattress, delivered to her home, were taken from the front porch of her home between noon and 2:30 p.m. The set is valued at $105. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Red Oak Police Department at 623-6500.

Accidents

• On March 12 at 11:31 p.m., officers of the Red Oak police department were called to the 1000 block of N. 4th Street. Upon arrival, they found a 2000 Pontiac Grand Prix driven by Marvin Otte, 63, Red Oak, had struck a 2006 Ford Explorer and a 1998 Dodge Stratus which were legally parked in the parking portion of the roadway. Otte was taken into custody on suspicion of OWI and was eventually charged with OWI.
