ACCIDENTS

• On April 12, at about 5:01 p.m., Red Oak Police officers investigated a two-vehicle accident in the area of Oak Street and 4th Street. Juanita Eggert Skalberg, 64, Red Oak, driving a 2005 Ford Taurus, was traveling east on Oak Street and signaled to turn north on 4th Street when she was rear-ended by a 2000 Chevrolet Silverado pick-up driven by Thomas Youngberg, 66, Red Oak, which was also traveling east on Oak Street. Damage to the Eggert Skalberg vehicle was about $2,000, while damage to Youngberg’s vehicle was estimated at $300.
