Ada R. Withrow, 95

Ada R. Withrow, 95, of Red Oak, died July 29, 2009, at the Red Oak Rehab and Care Center after an extended illness.

Ada Ruth Withrow was born Aug. 14, 1913, in Montgomery County, the daughter of Frank Campbell and Carrie Edna (Jenks) Withrow. She graduated from the Coburg High School in 1931. After she graduated from high school she did take more piano lessons and taught beginner piano for several years. She played for many years for the Montgomery County Women’s Chorus and for Coburg Schools where many graduates enjoyed “Pomp and Circumstance”.

Ada is survived by many cousins and friends.

Funeral services were held Aug. 1 at the Nelson-Boylan-LeRette Funeral Chapel with Dr. Al Moore officiating. Burial was in the Evergreen Cemetery.
