Allen and Anderson

Dennis and Margaret Anderson, of Lawton, are pleased to announce the marriage of their daughter, Rebecca Anderson, to Garrett Allen. Garrett is the son of Robert and Maurine Allen, of Red Oak.

The couple married July 8, at Immaculate Conception Church in Sioux City with Rev. Dan Guenther officiating. A reception in the church social hall followed the wedding.

The wedding party included Michelle Anderson, the bride’s sister, as Maid of Honor; Hilary Allen, the groom’s sister, as Bridesmaid; Brandon Allen, the groom’s brother, as Best Man; Danny Vennerberg, the groom’s friend, as Groom’s Man; Rashelle Wilson, Erin Reynolds and Caitlin Crowl, friends of the bride, as Ushers; Max and Margaret Peterson, the groom’s uncle and aunt, as Hosts; Eileen Arnts, the bride’s grandmother, as Special Guest; and Carolyn Allen, the groom’s grandmother, as Special Guest.

Rebecca graduated with a BA degree from Morningside College in Sioux City, while Garrett graduated with a BS degree from Morningside.

Rebecca works at Wells Fargo Bank in Huntsville, Ala.

Garrett is pursuing his Master’s degree in Aerospace Engineering at the University of Alabama in Huntsville.

The couple will reside in Madison, Ala.
