Area high school students invited to college fair

All area high school students and their parents are invited to learn more about their college options at the “Post Secondary Opportunities Days” college fair.

The fair will take place Monday, Sept. 24, from 6:30-8 p.m., and Sept. 25, from 9-11 a.m., at the Shenandoah National Guard Armory located at 583 West Ferguson Road in Shenandoah.  

Representatives from more than 60 colleges, universities, service organizations and military branches will be in attendance.

The purpose of the program is to give high school students and their parents an opportunity to discuss admission requirements, housing, financial aid, scholarships, internships and specific majors.

The program is free and open to the public.

This college fair is hosted by the Iowa Association for College Admission Counseling and the Corner Conference School Counselors.
