Beatrice Elaine Heuer, 89

Beatrice “Elaine” Heuer, 89, of Omaha, passed away Wednesday, April 13, 2011, at the Josie Harper Hospice House in Omaha.  

Elaine was born to Lloyd Gilbert and Lillian Mae (Shepherd) Andrews  Jan. 18, 1922, in Red Oak. She graduated from high school in 1939.

Elaine married Lansing Heuer June 28, 1940. They lived in Red Oak many years, and moved to Omaha in 1989.

Elaine is preceded in death by her parents; husband; daughter, Judy Sexton; brothers, Gordon and Wilbur Andrews; and sisters-in-law, Mildred Andrews and Carol Heuer.  

Survivors include her children, Kim (John) Neppl of Omaha, Mary Ann (Don) Finley of Greenwood, Ind.,  and Eugene Heuer of Chicago; 18 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; sister, Marilyn (Eldon) Ranney of Walnut, Iowa; sister-in-law, Ina Andrews of Red Oak; brother-in-law, Elden Heuer of Red Oak; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Funeral services took place Saturday, April 16, at the Nelson-Boylan-LeRette Funeral Chapel. Burial was at the Evergreen Cemetery.
