Bergren named All Star

OMAHA – Red Oak eighth grader Blake Bergren has been selected to the Ninth Annual Boys and Girls Clubs of the Midlands-Nebraska Army National Guard All Star basketball game set for April 10. The eighth grade all star game begins at 3 p.m at Benson High School
Bergren was selected after her performance for the Midwest Trailblazers in Omaha, Neb.
During halftime of the game, there will be a three-point shooting contest for each of the age groups. During halftime of the High school boys’ basketball game, which starts at 8 p.m., there will be a slam dunk contest.
Blake is the daughter of David and Shelley Bergren of Red Oak
Her grandparents are Pete and Jolene Crawford, Norman Ross, Lois Bergren, and Harriett Turner, all of Red Oak.
