Beverly Klepinger, 84
Beverly Faye (Martin) Klepinger, 84, Essex, died Friday, March 7, 2014.
Beverly was born on a family farm near Anderson July 18, 1929, to Walter L. Martin and Dorothy (McCain) Martin.
She was employed at Leacox Redfield Drug Store before her marriage to LaMott E. Klepinger Aug. 6, 1950, at the United Methodist Church in Shenandoah. To this union, two children were born, Cheryl Diane and Kevin LaMott. Beverly and LaMott moved to a family farm northeast of Essex, which became a Century Farm in 2000, and lived there for the remainder of their lives. She was a member of the Climax United Methodist Church.
Beverly’s greatest joy was spending time with family, especially most recently her great-grandchildren. Her passion was taking pictures and creating scrapbooks to share all the good times.
Preceding her in death was her husband, LaMott E. Klepinger, March 31, 1992; her parents; two sisters, Jean Brown and Joanne Mace; and her brother, Berkly Martin.
Survivors include her daughter, Cheryl Lundgren and husband Donavon of Essex; son, Kevin Klepinger and wife Paula of Emerson; grandchildren, Angela Countryman and husband Andy, Neil Lundgren and wife Lindsey, Jason Klepinger and wife Anne, Jeremy Klepinger and Ashley and Jody Klepinger Anderson and Dave; five great-grandchildren, Aaron Countryman, Lainey, Sianna and Wyatt Klepinger, Rylee Anderson, with a sixth expected in August; her sister, Marilyn Springer; sisters-in-law Leona Klepinger, Lorraine Neveln, Roslyn Martin; nieces and nephews.
Funeral services for Beverly will be 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, March 11, 2014, at Faith Covenant Church in Essex with Rev. Jim Ressegieu officiating. Burial will be at Essex Cemetery in Essex. Memorials may be directed to Essex Fire Department or Faith Covenant Church in Essex.
