Blue Jays defeat Adair-Casey

VILLISCA — Villisca defeated Adair-Casey on Wednesday night, 9-8. Morganne Haer, Courtney Auxier and Jill Vanderhoof each scored two runs.

Haer and Auxier were responsible for nine of Villisca’s 12 stolen bases in the game (four from Haer, five from Auxier).

Amanda Focht had the only multi-hit game for Villisca, ending the night 2-for-4 at the plate with a run scored and two RBI.

Vanderhoof was credited with the win.
