Bud Erickson, 89

Merrill “Bud” Erickson, 89, of Red Oak, died Monday, Sept. 17, 2012 at the Good Samaritan Society in Red Oak.

Merrill Wayne “Bud” Erickson, the son of Edward “Bill” and Myrtle (Falk) Erickson was born Dec.19, 1922 in Hartington, Neb.

Bud was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Nadene Erickson.

Bud is survived by daughter, Julie Fall of Anamosa; two grandsons and one great-grandson.

Funeral services were held Sept. 20, at the Sellergren-Lindell-DeMarce Funeral Home in Red Oak. Burial was in the Evergreen Cemetery with Rev. Dr. George Hooper officiating.
