Carl C. Andersen Jr., 86, of Omaha, Neb. died Dec. 3, 2009. Carl attended Benson High School, Bowling Green University - UNMC Training; Creighton - BS, Math; UNL - BS, Civil Engineering. Served with the United States Marine Core - 2nd Lieutenant. Member of Tangier Shriners Of Omaha, Member No. 63, Master Mason 33rd Degree, Admiral in the Great Navy of the State of Nebraska, President of Westside High School Community Club, First Presbyterian Church, UNL Touchdown Club.

Preceded in death by wife Beatrice E. Andersen; parents, Carl Christian and Gladys Sophia (Henkel) Andersen; brother, Roy; and sister, Leona Reichart.

Survived by sons, Carl (Nancy) Andersen III, Curt (Sarah) Andersen, both of Omaha, daughters, Nancy (Gary) Meinershagen, Dallas, Texas, Linda Andersen, Omaha, Marcie (Mike) Olson, Red Oak, Laurie Andersen, Dallas, Texas; 16 grandchildren, and 11 great-grandchildren.

Funeral Service will be held Dec. 8 at 1:30 p.m. at Crosby Colonial Chapel. Interment Evergreen Cemetery.
