Cecil Darrel Nicholas, 94

Cecil Darrel “Pete” Nicholas, 94, Hopkins, Mo., died Tuesday, Feb. 5, 2013, at St. Francis Hospital, Maryville, Mo.

Pete was born March 27, 1918, in Coburg, to Thomas Toy and Bessie Florence (Clark) Nicholas.

Preceding him in death were his parents, two brothers, Lloyd and Carl Nicholas; two sisters, Opal Nicholas and Vera Mae Snodderley.

Survivors include his daughter, Paula O’Neal, Braddyville; two grandsons; two great-grandchildren, three step-great-grandchildren, two step great-great-grandsons and a host of other friends and loved ones.

Visitation was Sunday, Feb. 10, at the Price Funeral Home, Maryville; funeral services were at 10:30 a.m. Monday, Feb. 11, 2013.  Burial will be in Pleasant Ridge Cemetery, Fairfax, Mo.

Memorials may be made to the Cecil “Pete” Nicholas Memorial Fund. Price Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
