Clinton server snafu a "big deal" for security

Dear Editor:
I graduated from Atlantic and moved to Red Oak in 1957. My wife is from Red Oak and her father was a police officer and fireman. We married as I went into the Navy in 1960. I served 30 years and then retired.  
My last tour was as the NATO Security Officer for the Supreme Allied Commander, Atlantic, the equivalent to SHAPE. The Supreme Allied Commander is the head of all Allied forces in the Western Hemisphere, Mediterranean Sea and English Channel.
In my duties, I handled classified documents and was responsible for the security and accountability of such. There are many classifications, just like in the U.S.; they range from NATO Restricted up through Cosmic Top Secret and then two more classifications above that. As security officer, I held a clearance for all levels of classified material.  
Now, what I am having a hard time getting by, and never get by it, is: if I had conducted my NATO Security business on my private cell phone, e-mail and server, I would not be retired, instead I would be at Fort Leavenworth making little rocks out of big rocks.              Hillary Clinton acts likes it is no big deal. It is a big deal, trust me. Initially, it is up to the sender of classified material to make sure the document is properly classified; however, when you work at the levels that Mrs. Clinton and I  work, we must also know and recognize when a document that is not classified and should be and/or is not classified at the required level. If she and I do not know that, then we should not be filling the positions that we are filling.
I love Iowa and the people, and at some future time, my wife and I are going to move to the Heritage House in Atlantic.  
However,  I am extremely disappointed in the people from Iowa as they flock to Mrs. Clinton, accepting her cavalier attitude toward using a private server for conducting Secretary of State business.   When they do that it is disrespectful to me for what I did for 30 years, and the sad thing is that I did the 30 years for the people of Iowa.
When I say if I had conducted my NATO security business on a private cell phone, e-mail or server I would be in Fort Leavenworth making little rocks out of big rocks, you can easily verify that statement by asking someone in the know; probably your local senator could verify that.
