U OF I DEAN’S LIST

The following area students were named to the University of Iowa Spring 2016 Dean’s List: Jacob Schafer of Emerson, Baylee White of Macedonia, and Nicholas Leinen of Red Oak.

IOWA WESTERN HONOR ROLL

Iowa Western Community College officials announced that approximately 550 students have been named to the President’s Honor Roll due to their academic achievement during the 2016 spring term. Students named to the President’s Honor Roll must be carrying at least 12 academic credit hours and attain a grade point average of at least 3.5 on a scale of 4.0.

The following students were named to the President’s 2016 Spring Honor Roll:

• Corning: Kandice Wilkinson, nursing: practical nursing.

• Emerson: Molly Bolton, marketing: lodging and hospitality management.

• Imogene: Devin Laughlin, management and human resources.

• Malvern: Gabriel Barney, general studies; Ryan Erickson, computers: network and system administration. 

• Red Oak: Shelby Helberg-Storesund, graphic communications; Jennifer Jackson, nursing: advanced placement associate degree nursing; Logan Powers, graphic communications.

• Villisca: Daniel Anderson, diesel technology; Brady Fengel, computers: computer science; Valarie Gray, early childhood education; Emily Marshall, general studies; Sheri Schaaf, dental hygiene.
