Dorothy Drake, 91

Dorothy B. Drake, 91, of Stanton, passed away Saturday, Jan. 21, 2012, at the Stanton Care Center.  

Dorothy Bush Drake was born to William Franklin and Marguerite (Stollings) Bush Sept. 19, 1920, in McKinney, Texas.

Preceding her in death were her parents; husband, James Palmer Drake; a grandson; and a sister, Maurine Castles.  

Survivors include her sons, James Drake, of Stanton, Robert Drake, of Austin, and David Drake, of Littleton, Colo.; three grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and siblings, Bill Bush, of Dallas, Texas and Betsy Young, of Fort Worth, Texas.

Graveside memorial services will take place at 2 p.m., Sunday, Feb. 19, at West Hill Cemetery in Sherman, Texas, under the direction of the family.

Nelson-Boylan-LeRette Funeral Chapel was in charge of arrangements in Red Oak.
