Farmland leasing meeting set for Aug. 13

Farmland leasing will be the subject on Aug. 13 at the 9 a.m. meeting in Red Oak’s US Bank meeting room.

Tim Eggers, ISU Extension Ag Economist will discuss land values, leasing practices and crop share leasing and will use a tool to determne how productive soil is to help determine the fair rental rate.

The $15 cost includes a farm leasing arrangement booklet, copies of the presentation and refreshments.
