Faye Parker, 93

Faye E. Parker, 93, Mountain View, Ark., died Monday, May 12, 2014, at the Stone County Nursing and Rehab Center, Mountain View.

Faye Ellen Parker, the daughter of Hiram and Elizabeth (Myers) Wharff was born Feb. 15, 1921, in Montgomery County, near Hawthorne.

Faye married Elmer R. Parker Nov. 10, 1940, at Rockport, Mo.

Faye is survived by her husband of 73 years, Elmer R. Parker of Mountain View; and daughters, Karen Hodo and Janice Gwin both of Mountain View.

Funeral services were Saturday, May 17, 2014, at 10:30 a.m. at Sellergren-Lindell-DeMarce Funeral Home, Red Oak. Burial was in Evergreen Cemetery, Red Oak. Rev. Dr. George Hooper officiated.
