Freda I. Schenck, 99

Freda I. Schenck, 99, of Red Oak, passed away Feb. 26, 2011, at the Good Samaritan Society in Red Oak.
Freda Isabelle Schenck, the daughter of Luther and Laura (Rush) Hanson was born on July 20, 1911, in Red Oak. Freda was united in marriage to Arthur S. Waage on Oct. 10, l942, in Red Oak. Arthur died on Aug. 30, l967. Freda was later united in marriage to Harvey S. Schenck on Aug. 4, l988, in Fairfax, Mo. Harvey died on Nov. 2, l990.
Freda is survived by a sister, Deloris Rickgauer of Tucson, Ariz.; step-daughters: Carolyn Tebrinke of Perry; and Marian Walker of Shenandoah; 13 step-grandchildren and several step-great-grandchildren.
Funeral Service will be held March 3 at 10:30 a.m. at Sellergren-Lindell-DeMarce Funeral Home in Red Oak. Burial in Evergreen Cemetery, Red Oak with Rev. JoAnn Thomas officiating. Open Viewing on March 2 from 9 a.m. - 6 p.m. at Sellergren-Lindell-DeMarce Funeral Home.
