Giving back to the community

The Montgomery County Family YMCA started this November, 2009 the” Giving Back to the Community/ Area” program - Holiday Food Baskets till Jan. 3, 2010 can be dropped off at the YMCA’s customer service center - members, guest of the YMCA can bring a can food item, boxed food item and then the YMCA will drop off the food to the Montgomery County Human Services Office in Red Oak, for families in need of holiday food this holiday season.

The first installment of food donations were delivered to the County Human Services on Dec. 15.
