Gracie Lynn Van Baalen was born July 29 at the Iowa Methodist Hospital in Des Moines, to Mary Estep and Adam Van Baalen, and died that same day at the hospital in the comfort of her family.

She is preceded in death by her great-grandma Lela Law and great uncle Marty McCuen.

Gracie Lynn is survived by her mom and dad; aunts April White of Fort Dodge, Nancy Estep of Villisca, Aasta (Ben) Smith Ben of Des Moines and Alaura (Bruce) Gambrall Bryce of Winterset; uncle Jeffrey McCuen and fiancé Tiffany O’Neil of Villisca; grandparents Lisa Fish and Charlie McCuen of Villisca, Robby and Alicia Estep of Des Moines, Christina and Nathan Van Baalen of Des Moines; and cousin Jackson Smith of Des Moines.
