Hatfield named outstanding student

The Business and Accounting Department at Iowa Western Community College has named Rebecca Hatfield from Red Oak as one of its Outstanding Business Students for the 2008-2009 school year. To qualify for the recognition, a student must attain a 3.5 cumulative grade point average, be enrolled in a business program at Iowa Western and must have completed 40 hours towards their degree with at least 20 hours taken in residence at the college and demonstrate leadership qualities.
