Hearing Healthcare Center drawing winner
At Hearing Healthcare Center we believe in helping people when the economy gets tough. March 1, we moved our office in Red Oak to 2016A Commerce Drive and wanted to celebrate the move while helping the hearing impaired. Nuear Electronics, our hearing aid manufacturer, wanted to celebrate by giving a free set of hearing aids to someone in need, in conjunction with our move. My husband, Clint, and I waived all professional fees. We conducted a private drawing and the winner was a lady from Shenandoah. For her privacy she only wanted to let everyone know of her first name, Amy.
Amy must wear hearing aids to interact with her husband and daughter. Almost a year ago, she and her husband decided Amy would stay home with her daughter, while her husband continued to work at a local factory. Since then financially things have been tight. She was amazed at the hearing aid’s ability to bring in the voices, even in background noise, and are virtually whistle free. She remarked at how much better she can understand when people talk. Amy was ecstatic with being the winner of the drawing and how much we care about her and her hearing.
We know how hard things can be right now, especially with the economy, and we all need to do our part in helping each other. We have three young children and know how much stress there is in raising a family. This was an exciting way to help.
