Helen A. Silkett, 72, Red Oak, died Thursday, Feb. 13, 2014, at the Red Oak Healthcare Community.
Helen Arlene Silkett was born May 2, 1941, the daughter of John William and Lila Arlene (Davis) Peterson.
She married Lee Stroup in 1959 and later Raymond Jones. In 1979, Helen married Jack Silkett and moved to Red Oak.
Survivors include her son, Kenny Stroup of Red Oak; daughters, Katherine Wilkens of Murray and Karen Priest of Creston; and a sister, Margaret Findley of Osceola.
Memorial services will be held at a later date.
Nelson-Boylan-LeRette Funeral Chapel is assisting the family with cremation services.
